Grandpa's Irrigating

We never knew irragating could be so fun!

Ahhhhh....nothing better than a mud bath

I feel rejuvenated

Who wants to start a water fight?

"You can't see me I'm hiding"

Lets get Darin.....

Farmer Tig taking care of the tree

How many hoses does grandpa have.....1....2....3....4...
.
Don't mess with the big boys

Nate pedals down a furrow....don't get stuck.

MUD

"punkin got me dirty"
Cameron loves to play in the mud and with Brigham...too bad the mud always ends up on Brigham.

Poppy Seed Dressing

Last Sunday Darin found the boys under the kitchen table with these....two bottles, one for each, with a straw. They were getting their own lunch. Yum poppy seed dressing. "Want sum"

Breakfast

I woke up to this...Cameron got breakfast for the both of them...

well at least he shared.

Pretty Butterfly

Yes, I'm just getting back to blogging...I know, I'm such a slacker!!! The boys have enjoyed this summer tremendously by playing with cousins, camping, parties, and loving the mud and sand. To start the summer off Cameron's Sunbeam teacher, Juanita Nield, took us up to the cemetery by our house to find caterpillars. We got one tiny caterpillar and an egg. The boys were so excited. I'm sorry to say that we didn't capture every tiny event from egg to caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly. Next summer I will. It was a lot of fun and so amazing! I can't believe such a pretty butterfly can come from a stinky, creepy, crawly caterpillar.

Wow...Cameron turns 4!!!

I can't believe how fast time flies...I know we all feel it just rushing past us but, man I just had this little guy and now he's FOUR and I have two more kids...WOW!!! I seriously love being a mom and know that this is what life is all about. Sometimes there are hard days where I think I'm going to pull my hair out because Cameron has just poured cocoa all over his room, had a cake fight in the kitchen and tracked it through the house, splashed water during a bath and flooded the bathroom, baptized Brigham in the tub, covered Brigham with mud...on his head, back, face, basically everywhere,...chased Brigham with the hose and drenching the poor little guy...he put a butter knife down Brigham's throat...yes I about lost it,...used toothpaste to do his hair, dumped a whole bottle of shampoo in the tub...four times, ...dumped new mouthwash all over the floor...poured baby powder all over his room and Brigham...Brigham looked like a ghost with big blue eyes peering out of a sheet....helped his cousins pour whole wheat all over the apartment floor making the biggest mess (Carrie found wheat on the fridge months later, wheat under the dresser in the kid's room, it was in the bathroom, down the hall and under the stove. ) Him and his cousins colored all over themselves with markers.... and the list goes on...what's next I say and than I find out...well now I'm starting to take pictures because I know I can laugh later and love the cute little boy more than ever before. I love the book "Love You Forever" and have read it many times to Cameron. It's really cute, the mom has this little boy and after a crazy day she'll sneak into his room and if he's asleep she will rock him and sing "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living my baby you'll be." It makes me cry! In the story when the baby is two he flushes his mom's watch down the toilet. Well yesterday Cameron asks me "Mom, can I please.....have Daddy's watch I'm not going to flush it down the toilet." Do you think I let him have it, no way! We have so much fun and many great memories. I know I'll be able to look back and cherish every moment even the hard ones. I love my little Cameron with all my heart and to you Cameron ...at the end of a hard day after we have put you to bed, I think "I'll love you forever, I'll like you always, as long as I'm living my baby you'll be. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIDDO...and I say let's make some more fun memories...without all the mess. :)

Cool Whip

Tooth paste

Where's my cake, mom!

When I asked Cameron what kind of cake he wanted for his birthday his reply was "mom, I want a monkey face cake." I don't know where he came up with that...and I thought how do you make a monkey face cake. Well with a few round cakes and a lot of frosting we got it made.)

"Make a wish"

Darin sent Cameron on a scavenger hunt to find his presents. He drew him a map of the yard and marked the presents with an X. I think Cameron liked searching for his presents more than the presents themselves. He even showed our neighbor Galyn his Treasure Map.

Next treasure...the porch!

Waterballoons...for his party! We had a lot of fun, Cameron said his favorite present was his scooter so he could be like his friends Rebecca and James. Now they can all go scootering together.

Cameron's birthday party
We had a little pool party for Cameron with some cousins and a few neighbors. They had pizza, watermelon, chocolate muffins, and lemonade. They all played in the pool, layed out on their towels to dry off, chased each other with the hose, hit a pinata, went on four wheeler rides and played a lot. What a fun birthday.

Four wheeler rides....Yepeee!!!!

Let's go fly an airplane!

Mathew chases everyone with the hose..."who wants to get wet next"

This is a big ball that you hook the hose up to and it sprays water. It is pretty fun and the kids love pushing it around the yard...and getting wet.

Pinata time!

Finally Darin has to break the pinata and ...treats, toys and whistles!

Cam your not my baby anymore...

Your getting so big!!!

I do have to say that Cameron is a really sweet boy. He loves his little brothers and is always wanting to play with them. He is so good to help Brigham find his binki or get him some toys or a glass of water from the fridge. He is very loving and gives us all a lot of hugs and is always making us laugh. Cameron loves to be funny and is always doing something hilarious like hopping on one foot around in circles....making a funny face, or saying something silly. He has such a sweet spirit and already has a testimony. He loves Jesus and it's amazing the questions he asks about the gospel, Jesus, church, or anything else...he truley is a special little boy. We are so lucky to have such a sweet, tender, loving, funny, social punkin boy.

To another great and happy year big boy!
